Commentary: GO!
The Kentucky Horse Park Campground borders the renowned Kentucky Horse Park, an entertaining and informative family-friendly attraction for equestrians and anyone who likes horses. We stayed at the campground in early October. Lush Kentucky blue grass carpeted the grounds. Canvas tents were being erected behind our site as if in preparation for a cocktail reception. Since the tent was in our "backyard," David asked a worker if we could attend the event. With a laugh, he said,"only if you're a horse!" The tent was for veterinarian exams of horses competing in the cross-country trials for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games being held at the Kentucky Horse Park, September 25 to October 10, 2010. This is the first time the games are taking place in the United States!

The International Museum of the Horse and the American Saddlebred Museum are also on the grounds.
