The National Park Service maintains nine campgrounds along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
For RV travelers who enjoy dry camping and having easy access to miles of hiking trails, they are a great choice. Most of the campgrounds accommodate sizeable RVs. They come equipped with restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables and grills. And weekend campfire programs add to the park experience.
The Blue Ridge Parkway campgrounds in Virginia are:

Three campgrounds accept reservations for some of their sites: Julian Price Park, Linville Falls and Mt. Pisgah. Make reservations at recreation.gov. All other campgrounds are first come, first served. The Blue Ridge Parkway campgrounds are open May through October with a per night charge of $16; $19 for reserved sites.
Dozens of private RV resorts and public campgrounds offer accommodations close to the parkway. Several resources provide details about options. These include state and local visitor guides, parkway visitor centers and the Blue Ridge Parkway Association website.
